As 2024 comes to a close, we’re thrilled to highlight the incredible achievements of our top sales performers at Roots Management Group. These individuals have gone above and beyond to help families find their perfect homes and contribute to the thriving communities we proudly manage. Let’s celebrate the top four sales leaders and hear their successes and motivations directly from them. 

#1: Claudia Jardinez 50+ homes sold

This year has been a banner year for Claudia Jardinez, who achieved the highest sales and welcomed her first child, Stefano, into the world. Claudia’s dedication and resilience have made her an inspiration to the entire Roots team. 

What’s the best part about selling homes for Roots? 

"Helping families find a place they can truly call home. Knowing we’re not just selling houses but creating opportunities for families to thrive is incredibly fulfilling. We’re building communities at Roots, and it’s an honor to be part of that." 

Was this year your best yet or most challenging? 

"It’s been both. So far, I’ve closed 47 homes and will end the year with over 50+ homes sold. My team at Audubon Estates has done an incredible job, closing 62 homes and moving in approximately 20 renters—nearly 70 families who’ve found their new homes with us. Balancing these achievements with being a new mom has stretched me in the best ways possible." 

Advice for other working moms? 

"Embrace the chaos and take it one day at a time. Some days, work will demand more; other days, your baby will. It’s okay to ask for help and set boundaries. Remember, you don’t have to be perfect; showing up with love and effort is what counts." 

Goals for 2025? 

"I’m setting my sights on selling over 65 homes personally and growing our team. More importantly, I want to strengthen client relationships and make every buyer's experience seamless." 

#2: Ashley Batchelor – 35+ homes sold

Ashley Batchelor’s journey with Roots Management Group began just over two years ago as an Office Assistant at Audubon Estates. Her dedication and passion for creating meaningful connections have propelled her to the role of Community Manager, and she is now a top performer. 

How did you achieve such success? 

"I don’t have a secret formula; I’m just honest, give the expected and deserved energy, and show the available inventory ready to occupy. I reassure prospects that what’s meant for them is for them, and it doesn’t hurt to try because you never know. This approach has resulted in happy and committed residents who love their homes." 

What’s the most rewarding part of your job? 

"Being able to put a family in a home is truly rewarding. Sales is always a team effort due to the steps needed to ensure a smooth transaction. I appreciate everyone involved in making this possible." 

Your journey with Roots has been inspiring. Tell us more. 

"I’m the Community Manager for Audubon Estates, where I first started as an Office Assistant. I was promoted to Community Manager for Stockbridge Estates at my one-year mark. My team and I worked hard to transition Rooted Renters into official homeowners while bringing in new families to purchase homes. It’s been an amazing journey of growth and learning." 

#3: Kowanna Carr- 22 homes sold

Despite being new to community management, Kowanna Carr has made a remarkable impact. Her journey from Office Assistant to selling 22 homes in just six months shows she has determination and passion. 

How did you achieve such success in your first year? 

"I was blessed to be put in a position where I could help people find homes and empower them to become homeowners. Teamwork and effective marketing played a significant role in this success." 

What do you enjoy most about selling homes? 

"Seeing the smile and look on my residents' faces when I say, ‘Congratulations!’ One thing I always do is create a welcome home basket with everyday essentials and a personalized card. It’s my way of ensuring they feel welcomed and valued." 

What are your goals for 2025? 

"I want to continue growing in my career and providing opportunities for families to become homeowners. I’m excited to see my communities thrive and evolve in the coming year." 

#4: Maria Martinez -20 homes sold

Maria Martinez, Community Manager at Paradise Valley since February 2023, has been passionate about building communities and helping families achieve homeownership since 2018. Her heartfelt approach to sales has made her a standout performer. 

What do you enjoy most about selling homes? 

"The happy faces of families being able to have their first homes and call it their home. When I show a home, I tell the buyer, ‘If you see yourself in this home, it will be your home,’ and magic happens—they become homeowners." 

Do you think you’re a natural salesperson? 

"I don’t know if I’m a natural salesperson, but when you put your heart into it, it comes naturally. The secret is enjoying what you do." 

How do you manage your time so effectively? 

"Prioritizing tasks from high to low is how I stay organized. Being kind and keeping a positive mindset take me further toward my goals." 

Goals for 2025? 

"Yes, we will continue selling homes and hitting our goals. I look forward to seeing even more families achieve their dreams of homeownership."
