As 2025 comes to a close, it’s clear this was a year defined not just by growth, but by meaning.
Across Roots Management Group communities, progress through personal stories, moments of connection, and opportunities that turned hope into reality.
One of the most powerful reminders of that came full circle this year.

More than two decades ago, a once single mother named Marie found the community she needed at Pine Edge.
Marie loved the close knit community, and the life she built there with just herself and her young daughter. Marie met someone, got married, and moved a few miles away to a different home on several acres of land, a very different chapter than her time at Pine Edge, but one she knew she needed as her daughter grew.

In 2025, Marie lost her husband. With her daughter now grown and raising a family of her own, Marie found herself overwhelmed trying to manage a large home and yard on her own. She began searching for a place to downsize, and one day, she drove past Pine Edge.
Something pulled her back.
As if by fate, she found herself stepping into a beautiful home and immediately fell in love. Just as quickly, she reconnected with neighbors and rediscovered the same sense of community she had felt 25 years earlier.
Marie’s story is exactly what Roots strives for: communities' people can return to, places that feel like home across every season of life.
That theme, home as a foundation, not just a structure played out repeatedly throughout 2025.
For many residents, 2025 marked a turning point.
Through the Establish Your Roots (EYR) program, families took meaningful steps toward homeownership, many for the first time. What began as monthly rent payments transformed into equity, stability, and long-term confidence.

Residents like Precious and Cortez Allen experienced what happens when opportunity meets support. Their move into a larger home wasn’t just an upgrade; it was an investment in their future. They weren’t just living in a community, they are building a future.

That same transformation unfolded for the Barrett family, guided by Office Assistant Kira Thompson. Kira didn’t just process paperwork; she believed in a family that needed someone to see what was possible. Her encouragement, and the EYR program helped move them from uncertainty into the security of ownership.
Kira credits her support network of peers at Roots and her willingness to keep learning, especially as a licensed real estate professional, for helping residents achieve their goals. “Handing them the keys and saying welcome home,” she says, “is my favorite part.”
Stories like these remind us that progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes, it looks like tears during a closing, hands held in a quiet prayer, or the moment a family realizes they’re not just home, but they now own it.
Growth with Purpose
This momentum hasn't happened by accident. It’s the result of intentional strategy, collaboration, and a shared belief that access to homeownership changes lives.
Daniel Roacho, Vice President of Sales at Roots Management Group, is instrumental in shaping that vision, driven not just by numbers, but by the Roots mission.

“Every number we track represents a family taking a step forward,” said Roacho. “Our growth this year wasn’t just about volume; it was about access. We focused on meeting people where they are and creating real pathways to homeownership, and the results speak for themselves.”
2025 Sales Highlights included:
- 68% year-over-year growth in total sales
- Approximately 23% increase in total sales proceeds, while continuing to expand access to homeownership
- 150 unique salespeople contributing to production across the platform
- Establish Your Roots activity increased approximately 164% year over year
- Close collaboration with licensing and field operations to become licensed and operational in multiple new, critical markets
These results reinforced what residents were already feeling; opportunity is growing, and support systems are strengthening.
Looking ahead, Roots continues to build on this foundation.

“In 2026, we’re targeting approximately 33% growth in overall production and launching two new programs in Q1 focused on expanding access, improving readiness, and supporting continued scale,” Roacho added. “Our goal is simple: help more families realize that homeownership is possible, and then help them achieve it.”
Community Isn’t Built, It’s Lived
If there was one moment that captured the heart of Roots communities this year, it came in the form of a birthday cake.
At Agave Village, residents gathered to celebrate James Peyton’s 100th birthday. A World War II veteran whose life story is a rallying point for kindness.

What began as a simple wish to honor a neighbor turned into hundreds of birthday cards, visits from first responders, and a community-wide celebration filled with gratitude and respect.
It wasn’t about the milestone alone; it was about how quickly neighbors showed up.
That same spirit could be felt across Roots communities all year long, from holiday gatherings and shared meals to quiet moments of support that never made a headline but mattered deeply to the people involved.
As Roots Management Group moves into 2026, the focus remains clear: strengthen communities, expand access to homeownership, and ensure every resident feels supported, not just housed.
Because at Roots, success isn’t measured solely by numbers.
It’s measured by families finding their footing, neighbors becoming friends, and residents that continue to feel at home, year after year.
