Roots Management Group: Cultivating Holiday Joy and Community Spirit

Roots Management Group: Cultivating Holiday Joy and Community Spirit

As the holiday season unfolds, Roots Management Group is not just a property management company; it's a community of caring individuals dedicated to making the holidays extraordinary for the residents in their manufactured home communities. In particular, the unsung heroes of this festive season are the Community Managers who go above and beyond to ensure every resident feels the warmth of the holidays. Here, we highlight some heartwarming stories of celebration and generosity that define Roots Management Group's holiday spirit.

The Shining Stars: Community Managers:

Community Managers are the heartbeat of Roots Management Group, and during the holiday season, they shine even brighter. As the primary contacts for residents, they play a pivotal role in fostering a sense of belonging and joy within their communities. Numerous communities embraced the true essence of Thanksgiving by hosting festive events that bring residents together in the spirit of unity. Complete meals are being provided, allowing everyone to enjoy a shared experience fostering community and togetherness.

At Riverview Estates, four families were blessed with complete Thanksgiving meals thanks to the partnership with Mersen USA.

Roots Management Group's communities are not just spaces to live but vibrant hubs of connection. Many communities hosted Thanksgiving feasts, bringing residents together to celebrate and share in the season's joy. Moreover, some communities collaborated with local groups to ensure that families had complete Thanksgiving meals, exemplifying the spirit of giving back to the larger community.

A Touching Story from Madison, Indiana

In Madison, Community Manager Brandi Dwenger went the extra mile, helping a family transition from a hotel to a manufactured home in her community, significantly reducing their living expenses. "I get to help people find homes they may not have known about. I love being face to face with my residents and helping them better their lives." Said Dwenger. The joy was palpable when one of the three children realized they could have a Christmas tree in their new home. “Now that we have a home, can we have a Christmas tree?” Dwenger noticed the silence and exchanged glances and knew they likely couldn’t afford that this year. Dwenger was already thinking of how she could help. She shared this that morning with her coworkers in a group chat. Next thing she knew, her Venmo account was notifying her that people were donating to her so she could go make this holiday magical for this family. “I looked at my phone and had over $300 in the first hour,” said Dwenger.  Her coworkers at Roots Management Group were not only donating but spreading the word so that everyone could pitch in and it became a companywide effort. Now Dwenger will not only give the family a Christmas tree, decorations, and a Thanksgiving meal but the leftover funds will go to a gift card for the parents to decide how to make the holiday special. “It just feels so good to do something for others” says Dwenger who wasn’t expecting everyone to donate to such a great family that she got to know while helping them secure a place to live in time for the holidays. The holiday season becomes an opportunity to provide families with a private, comfortable space and a supportive community.

Stacy Snyder's Heartwarming Gesture:

Stacy Snyder, a dedicated member of Roots Management Group at Fairlane, exemplifies the commitment to community well-being. Each year, she adopts a family to ensure they have a memorable holiday season. This year, she chose a recently employed military veteran, demonstrating the company's gratitude for his service. Snyder's generosity extended to providing a Thanksgiving turkey and all the trimmings, showcasing the true spirit of selfless giving. “I love to help. I am blessed to be able to do it and wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t do it for praise, I do it to lighten the load off anyone that may be struggling. This is my favorite time of year.” Snyder recently celebrated ten years with Roots Management Group.

A Company-Wide Commitment to Joy:

In Saginaw, Michigan, at Saginaw Village, the spirit of giving has taken center stage this holiday season. Several families in need have shared their wish lists on Amazon, and the giving trees at various Roots Corporate offices have become adorned with heartfelt requests. In an extraordinary generosity, one dedicated employee went above and beyond by reaching out to the Community Manager at Saginaw Village and covered an entire month's rent for a deserving family. The response to the Giving Tree and Amazon wish lists was remarkable. Roots Management Group employees rally to fulfill the requests in hours, ensuring these residents have a joyous and memorable holiday season.
