Leadership Spotlight: Shaun Huxford, Chief Operating Officer

At Roots Management Group, our leadership team is the backbone of our success, driving innovation, growth, and excellence. Among these leaders is Shaun Huxford, our dynamic Chief Operating Officer, whose journey and contributions are nothing short of inspirational. 

Shaun Huxford's career in the Manufactured Housing (MH) industry spans several decades, beginning in 1986 when he worked his way through college at the University of Washington by transporting and setting homes. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the owner and Managing Partner of a company supplying materials to the MH industry, all while earning his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. 

Over the last 15 years, Shaun demonstrated his adeptness at starting, turning around, and successfully growing several MH supply-based companies. One of his most valuable experiences was navigating the largest privately held MH manufacturer through the Great Recession. This period included the remarkable task of providing over 50,000 FEMA cottages post-Hurricane Katrina and overcoming the challenges of an F4 tornado that struck the business's campus. These experiences honed his skills in precision planning, execution, expense control, and efficiency gains through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. 

Shaun's career continued to expand as he took on the role of Chief Operating Officer with an international transportation company, where his leadership helped the company ascend from third to first in the U.S. market. Before joining Roots Management Group, he served as Chief Operating Officer of a national Class A RV sales, service, and indoor storage company, playing a crucial role in expanding its network to six locations nationwide.

Shaun's dedication to excellence and his multifaceted expertise makes him an invaluable asset to Roots Management Group. Outside of work, Shaun and his wife Tracy are proud parents of six children, including two sets of twins, embodying his philosophy that "it’s all about efficiencies." They reside in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas.
